Most people underestimate their subscriptions because they only list the ones they use. The free trial that rolled over, the yearly renewal you forgot, the app you stopped opening: those are the charges worth finding. Going through your bank statement line by line is the only way to catch them all.

Weekly × 52, monthly × 12, quarterly × 4, yearly × 1. The 10-year figure is the yearly total × 10, with no price increases, which in practice makes it an underestimate.
